Welcome to our new Silvair blog. We will use this space to share the things that we’ve learned while exploring the vibrant IoT and smart lighting segments throughout the last few years. We’ll also keep you up to date with the most recent market trends, as well as with the latest developments on what exactly we are working on and how our technology is being used by our customers.

Silvair cooperation with Dallas-based Obay Technologies

So to kick things off, we have a little announcement to make regarding our most recent partnership. Silvair is teaming up with Dallas-based Obay Technologies, a company specializing in automated window coverings. In cooperation with the industry-leading group BTX Intelligent Fashion, Obay will soon release a range of smart blinds and shades, as well as in-wall modules that can be used to easily “smarten” traditional power sockets or light switches. All these devices will feature our innovative Silvair technology, and they will be showcased for the very first time during the interior design expo and conference event MetroCon ‘15 which starts today in Dallas, USA. As is the case with the entire Silvair environment, smart Obay devices will offer robust connectivity features enabled by Bluetooth® Smart.
